Worry

Although we all worry from time to time, people with high levels of stress often worry too much, and as a result more stressed. Worry makes us focus our attention on what can go wrong and unhelpful thinking errors such as imagining the worst and then reacting as if those things already have occurred. All of this makes us worry more, but it doesn't have to be like this.

Is worry a problem for you?

Yes
1. Do you see yourself as a born worrier?
2. Do you feel the need to worry when there is nothing to worry about?
3. Do you feel worried if you are not worrying about something?
4. Can small concerns become big worries?
5. Once you start worrying, do you find it difficult to stop?
6. Do you feel so stressed with worrying that it stops you from enjoying things

If you answered “yes” to any of these questions, it is likely that worry is a problem for you.
