In stressful times, we tend to avoid things and feel worse. We can overcome this by breaking tasks down into smaller, easier steps and testing our negative predictions through behavioural experiments.
There is a two-way link between stress and relationship. It can be helpful to change how often you see people to reduce stress or increase support.
Expectations and poor communication can stand in the way of good relationships. Challenging your expectations, listening and talking better can improve your relationships.
Being assertive can help you to reduce your stress levels in relationship by learning to say “no”, making your own decisions and being able to change your mind and express your opinions and feelings.
